Tyra is painting over her pencil sketch of a 1920s flapper.
And this is what my work looks like really really early into the brainstorming process. What you see are messing thumbnails of a floating city. What you don’t see is the list of ideas written out above it.
This weekend I put gas in my car and got a lovely surprise. A little wasp’s nest beside the gas tank and I’m not sure how I’m supposed to get them out of there. Why can’t wasps be useful and inconspicous like bees?
And Tyra is drawing a medieval style judge and executioner.
I had some time after my non-arty job to work on the line art some more. Now on a slightly different note, Taisa is participating in a weekly challenge on Conceptart, org called Character of the Week (i.e. ChOW) which is simply a contest in which anyone participates in creating a character design based on a predetermined brief. This weeks brief is to make a human version of a pet (yours or someone you know). In Taisa’s case she is making an a human version of our cat Hope. I can’t wait to see how this turns out.
